I had always considered writing to certainly be one of my strengths, however, it has been quite the transition since the typical “5 paragraoh essay.” That format was always quite easy to follow, and easy to convey my ideas.  Moving beyond that style of writing, it has significantly opened my mind to different kinds of writing and reflective thinking. I have since discovered a way to take logical arguments on topics and thus put them in an organized manner. I try to consider my writing to be clear and concise, while not adding the “padding” wording to make things seem longer or even fancier. Another improvement to my writing is my ability to factor out more than one complexity  inside a textual content, in specifics to sticking to one-sided arguments in my papers. Rather than arguing both sides of something, or kind of giving in to the other side, staying firm to my beliefs. Another great addition to my writing that I have learned to expand on is finding authentic peer reviewed articles and using books to find my evidence and broaden my scope of how I conduct my research. This has lead to more scholarly papers with credible references. My writing is also so much more exciting than it was. It is hard to discover gaps in my understanding of english, in terms of how I can read and understand grammar issues. I feel that I have largely accelerated my literary analysis and writing abilities, but I want to be organized to clearly and concisely convey my thoughts. Becoming aware of my organization in the paper is important, so that readers can better understand. Even studying the specified literature and considering the way they choose to  educate people, I can gain a vast knowledge of the work as well and study the style and use it appropriately. I always had the notion of writing as just something I was required to do simply to complete college assignments. When I appearance returned and realise what doing this has taught me, the lesson may be very vital. Even connecting it to my future profession as a regulation enforcement officer, in a police file I need to articulate my reasoning and efficaciously argue why it turned into effective or no longer. The learning goal I chose is, "Students formulate and articulate a stance through and in their writing." I interpret this as coming up with your own ideas, thoughts, or sides, sticking by that and effectively argue why you believe that. I did not think of how important something like this actually is until I had to do it. I always thought of writing as just something I was required to do just to complete school assignments. When I look back and realize what doing this has taught me, the lesson is very important. Even connecting it to my future profession as a law enforcement officer, in a police report I have to articulate my reasoning and effectively argue why it was effective or not. That was the most important lesson I took. In terms of actually learning how to do this and efrectovelt comelting it, using evidence is the most important thing. My reasoning I form and the reason I form it is based off logical thinking, I do not let my personal bias or beliefs get in the way. When I form my stance I must be able to effectively articulate it in my writing, which I draw from other writers, clearly set out my thoughts, and use the best words I think that will let my readers know.

In my own personal experience, from working at Boston Medical Center as a Public Safety Officer, I have written numerous reports. Most of these reports were of people committing crimes and often ended up as me testifying in court. In these reports, I have to be extremely articulate and justify my stance and actions and why they were the appropriate lawful action. I have taken my report writing skills and applied that to my academic skills that I use everyday when writing a paper. The second goal I chose is, “Students practice critical reading strategies.” I used to find that reading something in its entirety was the most effective way to do it. I thought that all the information found in a book, journal, atticel, etc was important because why else would it be in there other than to serve as important and pertinent information. My thoughts of that have since changed 10 fold,I find it now that there is so much useless and unnecessary information within articles that now ciphering out the important stuff is critical. I do this by outlining the article and underlining what I find important. After I read everything not underlined again just to make sure. Asking myself why is this iorotns tafte rvery dew sentneces also helps to deledhate why something would be important or not. Especially writing in a college atmosphere, this has become one of the most essential parts of my process of writing and has led me to be the effective reader and writer I have become.

Toward the start of writing,  you have to come up with a composing technique. Generally the first step is gathering substances or conceptualizing. One example of joint effort could be the point at which I have my friends  read my article for a rough draft. Every essay has their qualities and shortcomings. Typically my qualities are exceeded with the guide of my shortcomings. Things I doubtlessly strife with are things like syntax and APA citing,  so while it comes time to compose I might need to have amazing substance that is unmistakably fascinating. However my evaluation is squashed with the guide of sentence sections and mechanical blunders. In limit of my papers I take special consideration of the substance.  I ceaselessly have an energizing topic when an endeavor is alloted, which could also be one of my blemishes.

I as a writer have truly progressed in my writings in many ways. All through this semester I have felt myself progressing in terms of just being able to write and catching a lot of my mistakes and ensuring the substance of my writing is appropriate. While doing the corrections on the papers that I hand in, reading the professor's comments genuinely help me see where I should focus my attention most and what grammatical mistakes I am making. THis also helps me ensure that I will not continually commit the same mistake over and over again within my writing. I used to find feedback rather offensive in the early days of my writing, however as I matured as a student and a writer I find it impeccably helpful to me and the audience reading my work. I want to produce the very best work and have a lot to learn so therefore doing peer review is essential to that because there are so many writers out there who know or an shae more experience than me.
