I sat on the Executive Board for the Northeastern Student Chapter of International Society of Pharmaceutial Engineers (ISPE) from September 2015 - May 2018.
I first served as Secretary for two semesters, Representative to the Student Activities Committee for two semesters, and Vice President for two semesters.
When I joined the E-board, ISPE was not an officially recognized Student organization at Northeastern. Myself and the other E-board members authored an organization constitution, applied for recognition, and defended our club as a unique and beneficial student organization to the Student Involvement Board. We achieved official University recognition after one semester.
My responsibilities on E-Board included:
- Leading monthly meetings
- Corresponding with our membership through email
- Planning and executing member recriutment and engagement events
- Coordinating details for meetings such as booking space, advertising, and food
- Leading monthly meetings
- Liaising with the Boston ISPE Chapter to coordinate events
- Securing funding for events from various sources
- Maintaining our a professional network of contacts for our organization
