October 2014

I want to do better than good in all of my courses. I want the A. Not the easy A. The one that I have earned through teachers that push me past my abilities, through teachers that challenge what I think I know and make me a better me for it.

I want to enter the world of Higher Education in a professional sense. The sooner the better. I want to work at Harvard. I will be tenacious in my pursuit and I will not settle for less. Even if it means I gain experience elsewhere before I get there.

I want to graduate at the top of my class and proudly know that I am finally learning what I love and then I want to reach for more.

I want to teach. I want to work with students like me who are looking to change the trajectory of their lives. I want to inspire students to become whoever it is they are on their way to becoming.

I want to imagine that I could take this to the next step and earn a PhD!

I want to grow and learn in whatever position I obtain.

I want to be fully committed to my family in every moment of every goal that I work towards no matter how many ups and downs there may be, no matter how many setbacks or pitfalls. They are my biggest supporters and my greatest champions. They are my inspiration and without them goals would be a series of achievements on a piece of paper that say very little about who I really am.
