The classroom is structured in a linear fashion with the desk all in double rows. This structure allows the students to work independently, in pairs or in groups, simply by moving desks. These various set ups provide for alternate and flexible learning environments.

Students maintain a level of decorum and are reprimanded for disrespect and class disruption. Students are given three warnings for class disruptions before they are given a written detention.

My students work well together and though they sometimes try to move the conversation off track I routinely move the conversation and instruction back into discussing the current text or issues.
