This course was one of my all-time favorites. Over six weeks, I worked with a diverse team to create a website for a topic we felt passionately about. It was amazing how much we found out we had in common, and impressive how our skill sets differed but worked together to create a website and populate it with content. Without realizing it, we were putting everything we learned about diversity and teams to the test as we built this website. Since this course, I've been significantly more conscious of the teams I'm on in terms of their diversity in culture and skill set. I try to make an earnest effort to create diverse teams when it's in my power to do so. I'm still using what I learned in this course at work every day.
