Katelyn Norsworthy

Since I was a young child, I’ve always been enthralled with education. This passion was sparked by my mother, who brought me into her classroom and shared her love of teaching and devotion to helping all of her students succeed. Her continued sentiment about the benefits of inclusivity and diversity in her classroom inspired me to pursue undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. Throughout my time at Worcester State University, my interest in understanding, educating and assisting students with diverse needs grew exponentially.

Because my goal is to effectively reach all the students that come into my third grade classroom, I have chosen to pursue a Masters of Education in Special Education  at Northeastern University. No two children are the same, and through this program I believe I can make strides towards successfully reaching all the students who walk into my classroom.
