Out of all of my papers, I believe the Grant Proposal to be the most challenging. As I was writing the proposal, I thought that the actual content of my writing was “empty,” for both the statement of purpose and the personal statement. “Empty,” in that it lacked substance, relatability, and most importantly, an argument.
