Meredith Sittmann

My name is Meredith Sittmann and currently, I work as the Assistant Director of the Doctor of Law and Policy program in the College of Professional Studies here at Northeastern. I handle all non-teaching responsibilities, specifically the operational and administrative aspects of running the program. I grew up in Virginia about an hour south of Washington, D.C. but have been living in Boston about ten years now.

I have a B.A. in English from Simmons College and a M.A. in Children's Literature. I spent some time in New York working for a publishing house and while I loved the work, life in NYC on an editorial assistant's salary is tough. Moving into a career in higher education was a great decision and I am happy to be here. 

I am not currently pursuing an MEd but rather, the graduate certificate in Instructional Design and eLearning. I really enjoy curriculum development and working closely with faculty so this really seems to marry the two!
