Summary

Have you ever wondered what actually occurs at a workshop for administrators? If you're like me then you've given it quite some thought!

This case study details attendance of a workshop day for State of Maryland Special Education Administrators. The specific workshop focused on progress monitoring reports and updates from administrators including Dan Hushion about county initiatives to support Special Education students.   

Before entering the chilly conference ballroom, I had some questions:

1. Would this workshop really be the best use of time for everyone? Could they have received this infromation via email?

2. How much interaction would occur between attendees versus leaders controlling the diaouge? 

3. What would Dan's role in the day look like? What would he report back about the workshop?
