Website Integration

When I started my role at Berklee, the digital strategy team was about to start a massive website integration project where about 150 disparate websites were to be unified into one large institutional website. I oversaw the content migration, working with each department to migrate its content over to the new overarching berklee.edu site, while managing content manager training and establishing best practices for content managers.

While it was a huge undertaking, particularly for a new employee, it was a success because I worked closely with the developers and all 300 content managers to ensure that we communicated frequently and made the content managers feel supported.

It was the best possible way to start a new job. Within months, I had met hundreds of new colleagues and developed relationships with them as I helped them develop their sections of the website and showed them what an improvement it was over their old sites. The relationships I developed during those early days really set me up for success in future projects.
