Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my portfolio!
As a third year chemistry major at Northeastern University, I have realized that experiential learning is pivotal to finding and pursuing a passion. My classes provide a knowledge base and my experiences enrich my practical skills.
Getting involved with different work environments in lab work, mentoring, and even scientific journalism has helped me mature. Budgeting my time, accepting new responsibilities, and driving a project are fundamental skills I will continue to use in the future.
Reflecting on my past defines my present, so I can shape my future. This portfolio consists of challenges I have faced and the benefits I have gained. Feel free to explore and comment on my collection. Thanks for visiting!
Best regards,
Faraz Arastu
I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.

Hey Faraz,
I picked up a few words in Gaelic but not enough to understand or speak it. About the housing and cost of living it all depends where you go. I lived on campus at UCD but I paid Northeastern so I'm not sure how much off campus would be. Depending where you go in Europe it will be really expensive or cheap. London for example is crazy expensive. You should definitely do an international coop though, I hear it is an amazing experience.
