A personal note --

Growing up in the Adirondacks of New York State, I am partial to the mountain sports like hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, and skiing. When its not winter, I enjoy playing sports like basketball, volleyball, and football with friends. In my spare time, I have picked up freestyle breakdancing which strongly complements my favorite R&B, soul, and hip-hop music. I can often be found listening to the smooth sounds of James Brown, Run DMC, and 2Pac. 

A professional note --

As I said, I'm a third year chemistry major picking up a biology minor and currently on co-op at a drug discovery company called Ensemble Therapeautics. I work normal hours from 9 to 5 and career-wise, I'm looking at graduate programs in the chemistry related fields, e.g. organic chemistry, electrochemistry, so that I can work in an industrial setting. Although I'm not sure where I'm headed professionally, I'm trying to pick up a double major to find some direction to sort out my career goals.
