 Connector, Storyteller, Considerate Communicator

I enjoy challenging myself and never stay in my comfort zone. That’s why I quit my stable job in Beijing and started a new chapter of my life in Boston.

I speak three languages and have lived and studied in three different countries —China, Spain, and the United States. With a strong cultural agility, I’m good at communicating with people from different backgrounds. I’m a considerate communicator who values warm and personal relationships. I enjoy being part of a team. Through my five years of work experience in Beijing and Boston, I firmly believe that two heads are better than one.

I have a great passion for education. Since July 2017, I've been working at Global Student Success at Northeastern as a Student Support Coordinator. I'm responsible for the office's internal and external communications, events planning as well as some administrative projects. I received an Honorable Mention from the Office of Student Employment in the 2018 Student Employee of the Year awards.

I care about the community. I am a volunteer at Boston Cares and used to be a Volunteer Team Leader and Service-Learning Teaching Assistant at NU Center of Community Service.

I also believe in the importance of women’s personal and professional development, so I co-founded Lean In To Grow— a Lean In Circle aiming to empower international female students at Northeastern. We hold monthly events inviting international students, alumnae, and faculty members in NU community to share their "lean in" stories. In collaboration with the Northeastern Career Development, Lean In To Grow is a brand new series for international female students in the Department and has directly inspired more than 200 students through past ten events.
